FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) to the Host

How do we get to the ski lodge?
Since the road leading up to the lodge is accessible by vehicle only in summer, please take the chair lift (Rifenal Lift) in winter to come up and get to the lodge.

How does the baggage come to the ski lodge? 
Hand over your baggage at the valley station and once it reaches the mountain top, we take it to the lodge.

What about the lift tickets?
Guests who have booked a package including tickets for the lift have to get their tickets from the Venet valley station. You need to pay only € 2.- security deposit for the chip card.

Where do we park car? 
You may park your car at the Venet valley atation or at the Rifenal parking facility - for free.

What do we need to bring along for our stay?
You do not need to bring anything special for the comfort rooms and the apartment.
You need to bring hand towels and a sleeping bag for the dormitory.
You need to bring only hand towels for the comfort dormitory.
All guests should bring slippers since it is not permitted to enter the rooms and dormitory with boots and outdoor shoes.

Are there ski hire opportunities nearby?
Skis and toboggans may be hired from the rental shop located right next to the valley station of the Venet cable car station.

Consumption of your own food and drinks:
Please do not consume food and drinks you have brought with you in the lodge. The usually very friendly host will then become GRUMPY!
